Orange marmalade turned to be bitter?

I made orange marmalade but i cooked it a little more and it is now bitter in taste, can anyone suggest how do i use it in some recipies or how to modify it (I have already added too much sugar so pls dont suggest this)
Suggestions are welcome

I agree with all the other and I am a former chef, overcooking can release more of the oils and render it a bit bitter, plus it also depends on the type of oranges, seville are very bitter, and sugar would not help it would crystallize in the jars, if you have not jarred it, melt it and add bit more orange juice, but only bring it to the simmer, have yu added the pectin too. Pectin sometimes softens the bitter side, I have made several from Lime, Lemon, Seville orange and a mix of orange, lemon and grapefruit types
