Loose tea definitely makes a better cup of tea.
I’m surprised how many people replied that they prefer bagged tea…and the reasons they cited: convenience and no bits of tea leaves floating in the tea.
Do these people really consider themselves tea drinkers?
The tea that goes into Tea Bags is just about always of lower quality.
For an extra ounce of effort and roughly the same amount of time spent making the tea (one still has to wait for the tea to brew, whether its bagged or loose tea), you’ll get a much better cup of tea from loose tea.
If you don’t want bits of tea leaves floating in your tea (and who does?), all you have to do is properly brew your tea with spoon infuser or a tea strainer.
Loose tea is the way to go.
